[Las Vegas, NV] Sencore, Inc and DTVinteractive Co., Ltd are officially unveiling the ATX2000, an all-in-one ATSC-M/H multiplex signal generator. Sencore is an industry leader in providing signal source solutions and test & measurement equipment for video signals, as well as operation equipment to broadcasters, telcos, cable and satellite providers and manufacturers. DTVinteractive is a leading provider of DTV/Mobile TV total test solutions.
DTVinteractive recently announced that it will support the ATSC-M/H technology and will offer the ATSC-M/H test solution (the ATX2000) to mobile TV chipset & receiver manufacturers to implement the cutting-edge ATSC-M/H technology conveniently. DTVinteractive, along with Sencore, is offering an ATSC-M/H signal generator to mobile TV chipset & receiver manufacturers for R&D and mass-production lines. “DTVinteractive’s ATX2000 is an ATSC-M/H signal generator with integrated ATSC-M/H real-time multiplexer. The ATX2000 can support various test environments and parameters manipulation necessary in lab and manufacturing settings” said Kenny Lee, Director of Global Sales for DTVinteactive. Garrett Carter, Global Sales Manager for Sencore stated, “We’re very pleased to be part of the introduction of the ATX 2000 Multiplex Signal Generator which is ready for the emerging ATSC-M/H technology”. Sencore will be offering the ATX2000 to television broadcasters and developers in the US.
The ATX2000 provides high-quality, RF performance and analog I/Q output for AWGN/Fading tests. The ATX2000 supports ASI and file type for main stream, and IP Datagram and file type for mobile A/V, ESG and data. The most significant feature of ATX2000 is the integrated real-time s/w multiplexer. With this multiplexer, ATX2000 can multiplex main stream and *MHE (ATSC-M/H encapsulation) packets, and edit TPC, FIC & SMT-M/H information. Compared with general signal generators, this functionality is a dramatic improvement for R&D engineers who require the ability to control various parameters to emulate actual broadcast environments.
DTVinteractive has been the frontier in developing technologies to implement Mobile TV (MDTV) technology, including ATSC-M/H, for over 7 years. “DTVinteractive is considered as one of the most reliable solution providers for ATSC-M/H now, and is pleased with our contribution to ATSC-M/H technology for mobile TV chipset and receiver manufacturers,” said Tae Ho, Kim, CEO of DTVinteractive. Chuck Robertson, VP of the Sencore’s Communication Division added, “Sencore is very excited to offer this leading-edge technology in the United States”
* MHE Packets are encapsulated IP datagram which includes mobile A/V, Data and ESG information.
